THermine – the little city train (Package XL)

This round trip ride through the City of Wiesbaden, beginning at the Marktplatz, features a recorded narration that recounts the history of this elegant city and its famous citizens and admirers.

A tour guide will then lead you up the Neroberg, Wiesbaden’s landmark mountain and one of the city’s most popular panorama vista points. An hour later, the Nerobergbahn (mountain railway) will take you back down to the valley where the THermine will return you to the Marktplatz.

You will learn about viticulture, well-guarded cultural traditions, and the unique location on the Rhine during a tour of the Rheingau.

At Eberbach Abbey, beautifully situated and famous as the filming location for "The Name of the Rose", you can immerse yourself in the life of the Cistercian monks in days gone by.

Eberbach Abbey was founded in 1136 as Cistercian monastery of Eberbach in the filiation of Clairvaux as one of the most successful Cistercians on the right bank of the Rhine.
